The testing schedule set forth above is mandated by the state and will not change. Other make-up tests, field tests, and TELPAS tests will be given throughout the year during a state set window of time.
We will be taking a practice TAKS test or benchmark the week before Thanksgiving. The benchmark test results are used by the teachers to check the progress of the students, and prepare them for the actual TAKS test. Students should be encouraged to do their best on all testing.
The PSAT will be given to all juniors on October 14, 2009 free of charge.
